The Belvedere dinner set is a modern replica of the Babigon dinner set, made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in 1824 for the Grand Peterhof Palace. The main decorative motif used in the design is an ornamental ribbon, which is a garland of gold stylized leaves on a gray background framed by thin crimson layering. In the middle of the XIX century, the dinner set was transferred to the Belvedere Palace, built on Babigonsky Hill in Peterhof, designed by architect A.I. Stackenschneider.
